Import BenchLink Data Logger Pro Configuration File

Note: Although the Keysight BenchLink Data Logger Pro software offers similar functionality to the BenchVue DAQ application (click here for details), licensing is not transferable between the two applications. If you have previously purchased a license for BenchLink Data Logger Pro, that license cannot be transferred to the BenchVue DAQ application.

This dialog box is available by clicking Application Settings > Import BenchLink Data Logger Pro Configuration File and allows you to select a BenchLink Data Logger Pro configuration file to import.  

Note: Only the instrument channel and scan configuration information is retrieved. Graph configurations and data logs are not imported.

• If the DAQ application does find an installed BenchLink Data Logger Pro application and one or more configurations, you will see:

1. Select Data Logger Pro Configuration - Click a checkbox to select the configuration to import.

2. New Configuration Name - You can use the original default configuration name or enter a new configuration name.

Click OK to import the configuration.

• If the DAQ application does not find an installed BenchLink Data Logger Pro application, you can still import a configuration that was transferred to an .xml file (File > Save Configuration As in BenchLink Data Logger Pro). In this situation, you will see:

1. Select Data Logger Pro Configuration File Path - Click the Browse button and navigate to the Data Logger Pro configuration location.

2. Provide New File Name - You can use the original default configuration name or enter a new configuration name.

Click OK to import the configuration.
