List Sweep Display Tab

Enter sweep points and measurement limits of up to 201 frequencies, test signal levels, DC bias, or DC source. The sweep points are automatically swept and the measurement results are compared to the limits. You can configure the following list sweep measurement controls:

Note: Click the "Setup List Sweep" button at the bottom of the List Sweep window to view the corresponding measurement parameters on the Settings panel on the left.

Sweep Mode

The list sweep features supports two sweep modes: Sequential and Step. In the Sequential mode, once the LCR meter has been triggered, it performs a sweep measurement throughout the defined sweep points. In the Step mode, the LCR meter steps to the next sweep point each time a trigger is received.

List Sweep Parameter

The sweep parameter used in list sweep measurement can be measurement frequency, signal level, DC bias, or DC source. Click the "Setup List Sweep" button to specify the list sweep measurement parameter. You can set the list sweep parameter to either "Freq[Hz]" or Level[V]".

Sweep Points and Limit Modes

The list sweep measurement feature supports up to 201 sweep points as well as measurement limit values. From the Table View tab, you can use the table to configure the sweep points, limit parameters, and upper and lower limit values.

Note: If you configure only the lower limit value for a sweep point, DUTs that are below the lower limit value for the selected primary or secondary parameter are evaluated as LOW. If you configure only the upper limit value for a sweep point, DUTs that are above the upper limit value for the selected primary or secondary parameter are evaluated as HIGH.

Note: If you specify the limit parameter for a sweep point but omit both lower and upper limit values, DUTs always pass the sweep point evaluated as IN.

Sweep Parameter Auto-Populate

When you want to enter multiple sweep parameters, you can use the auto-populate feature to specify two points and have the sweep points between them automatically entered. To automatically populate (or clear) the sweep table, click on the "Populate Sweep Table" button.

Save/Load Sweep Table

Click the "Save Sweep Table" button (located at the bottom of the List Sweep window) to save the current sweep table to a file for later retrieval. The sweep table is stored in a proprietary format with a *.stable file extension. By default, the sweep table is stored in the "My Documents" folder on your computer. For example – C:\Users\<user_name>\Documents\Keysight\BenchVue\LCR Meter\States\.
