Sweep Tab

In this mode, the signal generator sweeps through a set of frequency and/or amplitude points.

Note: Parameter choices vary by instrument. Some of the parameters listed below might not be available on your particular instrument. The bench application will list only those parameters, and parameter ranges, available for your particular instrument.

Frequency Sweep – Enable or disable a frequency sweep.

Amplitude Sweep – Enable or disable an amplitude sweep.

Sweep Type – Select a "List" or "Step" sweep type.

List Sweep – Enter frequencies and amplitudes at unequal intervals in nonlinear ascending, descending, or random order.
Step Sweep – Step in a linear or logarithmic sequence from one selected frequency or amplitude (or both) to another, pausing at linearly or logarithmically spaced points (steps) along the sweep. The sweep can progress forward, backward, or manually.

Sweep Direction – Set the sweep direction. "Up" sweeps from the start to the stop frequency/amplitude. "Down" sweeps from the stop to the start frequency/amplitude.

Sweep Retrace – Enable or disable the sweep to retrace to the first sweep point ("On") or stop at the last sweep point ("Off') upon completion of each sweep.

Sweep Repeat – Select a "Single" sweep or a "Continuous" sweep.
