The following configuration settings are available in this pane. The resistance control feature allows you to set the threshold resistance value to indicate short circuit and open circuit conditions. Once the threshold has been reached, a warning will be generated. The same resistance value cannot be used for both open and short circuit.
Resistance values below or at the minimum resistance set for short circuit will trigger the short circuit condition. Resistance values above or at the maximum resistance set for open circuit will trigger the open circuit condition.
Select the Enable Resistance Control checkbox to enable the resistance control setting.
Note: BenchVue does not react to any open or short circuit condition. You will have to decide whether to turn off the output or to adjust other settings to resolve the short or open circuit condition.
Minimum Resistance for Short Circuit - Enter the desired minimum resistance value for the short circuit condition.
