Source Voltage and Source Current Setup Pane

The following configuration settings are available in this pane.

Click the button on each channel tab to turn the output on or off for that channel.

Note: The voltage and current measurement display will only be updated when the channel output is turned on.

Voltage and Current Measurement Display

The display panel shows the operation mode (source voltage or source current), measurement readings for voltage and current, and operating region (indicated by the range).

The display will NOT switch from source voltage to source current as the U2722A/U2723A does not support the CC and CV mode.

Basic Settings

Enable Auto Range - Select the checkbox to enable auto ranging which allows automatic setting of the operating region (voltage and current). Refer to Perform Auto Ranging for more details.

Voltage Range - Select the desired voltage output range.

Current Range - Select the desired current output range.

Source - Select the source voltage or source current mode.

If source voltage is selected, the following settings will be available.

• Drive Voltage: Enter the desired output voltage value.
• Input Protection: Enter the desired input protection value to limit the output current.

Note: The voltage measured will vary according to the drive voltage value. The input protection current settings set the maximum limit for the output current.

If source current is selected, the following settings will be available.

• Drive Current: Enter the desired output current value.
• Input Protection: Enter the desired input protection value to limit the output voltage.

Note: The current values measured will vary according to the drive current value.
