Keysight IO Libraries Suite (IOLS) is Keysight's integrated solution containing connectivity libraries and tools that speed up connection and control of your instruments. The newest versions, IO Libraries Suite 2024 Update 1 (for Windows) and IO Libraries Suite 2024 (for Linux), provide an enhanced user interface, a significant update in the architecture of the IO Libraries Suite infrastructure, an all-new Connection Expert, and much more.
Introductory Topics
Especially if you are new to the product, you may want to read:
About Keysight IO Libraries - A table of the component libraries and utilities, which of them are supported in Windows and Linux, and where to find help for each component.
What's New in Linux or Windows - the latest release features by operating system.
Users needing an older version of the software for compatibility with older instruments, see the revision matrix.
Starting Utilities and Using I/O Control - How to use IO Control as a shortcut for starting utilities and accessing documentation, and how to start utilities not found in IO Control.
This version of the IO Libraries Suite supports Windows and Linux. Available utilities, APIs, help files and features vary by operating system. Variations are flagged in help with these icons: for Windows, for Linux, and for Windows on ARM. If a help topic is not labeled with W, L, or WA icons, the information applies to all operating systems.
Getting Connected
After reviewing introductory information, to use the IO Libraries Suite, start by connecting and communicating with your instruments. See the Start Here: Connectivity Guide in the Connection Expert section of this help file.
