National Instruments GPIB Card Not Recognized
Problem:
Your National Instruments (NI) GPIB card, or a device connected to that card, does not appear in Connection Expert.
Probable Causes:
You may not have a National Instruments driver installed for this card.
The Keysight Instrument Discovery Service may be unable to discover your card.
Suggested Steps:
If you do not have an NI driver, install the NI-488.2 software from National Instruments and configure the card using NI's configuration tools. Consult NI documentation or the NI Web site for details. Keysight 488 and NI-488.2 will coexist without problems.
It is not necessary to install NI-VISA for Connection Expert to recognize your NI GPIB card.
Once the correct driver is installed and the card is configured, the Discovery Service will discover NI GPIB cards automatically.
