Starting Utilities and Using IO Control
The IO Libraries Suite contains a variety of applications, utilities, and programming libraries (which vary by operating system; see About Keysight IO Libraries for a table outlining each).
The central location for starting many of these applications, as well as accessing this main IOLS help file and the help files for programming libraries, is IO Control. IO Control installs with the product suite and auto-runs at system startup.
Launch IO Control
With IO Libraries 2025 or later, IO Control is available as a web application. You can launch it in any of the following ways:
From the Application Finder:

Open the Application Finder on your Linux machine.

Search for IO Control and click to launch it.

Open your preferred web browser.

Enter the URL, https://localhost:4214.
With IO Control, you can launch applications and utilities, and open help documentation included in Keysight IO Libraries Suite. Applications include:
In Linux, IO Control also provides shortcuts to utilities and documentation items (those that are supported in the Linux product).
What can I access from IO Control?

Connection Expert — Starts Connection Expert. -
Utilities — Offers shortcuts to several programs and debug utilities. -
Documentation — Gives shortcuts to the IO Libraries Suite Help (this file), the help for some of the most-used utilities, the help for the programming libraries, and the product Readme file. - Exit Keysight IO Control

In Linux, this command simply closes IO Control and temporarily removes the icon from the taskbar. It will re-appear when the operating system is restarted.

Global commands to start utilities from IO Libraries Suite Linux
In Linux, other than using the IO Control icon to access Connection Expert, utilities, and documentation, you can also use the global commands to start Connection Expert, IO Monitor, Interactive IO, other utilities, and documentation. See the commands below:
