This test is performed only on analyzers with Option 107 and Option 233. |
The PSA Option 107 Audio board contains five step-gain settings and the on-board 10 kHz calibrator oscillator operates at two power levels depending on the step gain setting.
Two adjustments must be performed. One adjustment determines the exact gain of each step-gain setting, then stores this data to instrument Cal File ID 453 on the Option Driver Board.
The second adjustment measures the 10 kHz calibration oscillator at each step-gain with either the high or low cal power and measures the audio output on the Audio board, then stores the data in Cal File 452.
This adjustment should be performed after replacing the Audio Board or the Option Driver Assembly.
