Audio Distortion Performance Test

This test is to be performed only on analyzers with Option 107 and Option 233.

This test verifies the Distortion and Residual Noise of the Option 107 Audio path across the 20 Hz to 250 kHz frequency range. Distortion and Residual Noise is defined as the ratio of the input signal to every thing else within the bandwidth. Everything else includes noise, spurious responses, harmonics, residual responses and any other signal that appears in the measurement bandwidth.

In this test an audio analyzer or an ultra low distortion function generator output is connected to the DUT and a distortion measurement is performed by the DUT.
