The PSA’s input is terminated with a 50 ohm load, and the displayed average noise level (DANL) is measured within the specified frequency ranges. If the PSA has the preamp option 1DS or 110, additional testing is performed with the preamp on. All tests are performed in DC-Coupled mode.
