UXA — N9040B
This adjustment adjusts the External LO Output amplitude to +16.5 dBm. In this adjustment, a power sensor is connected to the EXT MIX port. The signal analyzer is placed in External Mixing mode and the center frequency is stepped in 75 MHz increments. At each center frequency, an internal DAC is adjusted until the power meter reads +16.5 dBm, and the DAC value is saved. The center frequency is then tuned to the next frequency and the process is repeated.

Occasionally, due to manufacturing tolerances, the front panel may prevent the power sensor from fully seating on the External LO Connector. If this situation occurs, a 3.5 mm (m) to 3.5 mm (f) adapter (such as the 83059C) should be used to position the power sensor further from the front panel. |
