10 MHz Internal Frequency Reference Adjustment

This adjustment applies to the following models:

This procedure adjusts the internal 10 MHz Frequency Reference to within ± 0.5 Hz of 10 MHz. This adjustment is necessary when the 10 MHz Accuracy Performance Test fails.

For this test, the output of a 10 MHz frequency standard is connected to the analyzer RF input. The analyzer measures the signal and the internal timebase is adjusted until the marker reads 10.0000000 MHz  +/- 0.5 Hz. A timestamp is placed on the file to show when the 10 MHz reference was adjusted.

A minimum warmup time of 24 hours is required for minimal frequency reference drift.
