All X-Series models
This test runs an internal alignment on the X-Series signal analyzer. The internal alignment performs a series of internal adjustments on the analyzer. The adjustments are necessary in order to maintain the amplitude accuracy of the analyzer. The results of the internal alignment are shown on the test report. An internal alignment failure suggests that there is an internal hardware failure that should be repaired. If an internal alignment failure has occurred, the specific errors can be viewed on the analyzer by pressing System-Show Errors. Please refer to the Instrument Messages and Functional Tests Guide for error message descriptions. An internal alignment pass indicates the X-Series signal analyzer is able to perform the internal alignments.
