Noise Density Performance Test

Noise Density is only tested on the following:

  • Option B40, 40 MHz Digitizer
  • Option B85, 85 MHz Digitizer
  • Option B1A, 125 MHz Digitizer
  • Option B1X, 140 MHz Digitizer
  • Option B2X, 255 MHz Digitizer

  • Option B5X, 510 MHz Digitizer

UXA N9041B models will also run a separate test on Input 2.

 

The Noise Density test is performed at specified center frequencies. The noise marker is used to measure the dBm/Hz. The Input Noise Density is then calculated based on the instrument’s settings. The test is performed in I/Q Analyzer mode as this is the only mode available in Wideband IF.
