Conducted Band VSWR Performance Test
Radiated Band VSWR Performance Test
A VSWR failure can occur due to several possibilities:
The network analyzer calibration was not performed correctly. If the calibration is suspect, then check the test cable for damage, check the calibration standards for damage, and re-do the calibration.
The MXE input connector (RF Input 1, or RF Input 2) is damaged. Visually check the input connector for damage.
The MXE Limiter Assembly is damaged. A VSWR failure on only the RF2 Input port may suggest that the input limiter has been damaged by over voltage. Please refer to the MXE service guide if the Limiter is suspected.
The input attenuator is damaged. The VSWR test may fail if the input attenuator has been damaged by excessive input power. Please refer to the MXE Service Guide if the input attenuator is suspected.
