This utility resets the statistics (attenuator actuations, 50 MHz calibrator actuations, temperature ranges, hours of operation, etc.). This statistical information is viewed on the EMI receiver screen when you press: System, More, Diagnostics, Show Hdwr Statistics.
The instrument on-time is not allowed to be reset since this can have warranty and legal implications.
When used:
after replacing either of the attenuators
after replacing the RF preselector bypass switches
if a technician needs to reset the temperature extremes the instrument has recorded
The utility will do the following:
Reset mechanical attenuator actuations when either of the two input attenuators are replaced.
Reset the 50 MHz switch actuations when the A9 Input Attenuator is replaced.
Reset the AC/DC switch actuations when the A9 Input Attenuator is replaced.
Reset the RF preselector bypass switch count if SW2 is replaced.
Reset the RF2 switch count if SW1 is replaced.
Reset the temperature extremes. A technician may wish to reset this counter when troubleshooting temperature related problems.
