For the N5166B, N5172B, N5182B, and N5182N the following calibrations must be performed prior to running this adjustment:

The goal of this calibration is to deliver an optimal LO drive level to the LO input of the IQ modulator. Too little LO power impacts the IQ modulator distortion performance. Too much LO drive creates harmonics in the LO drive chain which causes IQ LO feed-through drift with temperature.
There are two parts to this calibration. The first determines the LO power off reference measurement. The second calibrates the BB: IQ PRELEVEL DAC across frequency.
No additional equipment required.
