The goal of this calibration is to determine the optimal bandcross frequency between two of the frequency bands such that the 0.75 subharmonics are sufficiently suppressed. The frequency bands of interest are the ones nominally from 3.0 GHz to 3.8 GHz and 3.8 GHz to 4.8 GHz. The adjustment sweeps the synthesizer frequency from 3.6 GHz to 3.8 GHz in steps of 10MHz while ensuring the 3.0 GHz to 3.8 GHz band is enabled. A spectrum analyzer is used to measure the power at the nominal frequency as well as the 0.75 subharmonic frequency.

If this adjustment fails, perform the following steps in order:
Check the equipment setup (see above). If the setup is incorrect, make the necessary corrections and rerun the adjustment.
Refer to the troubleshooting section of the service guide. If you do not have a printed copy of the service guide (Option OBW), one is available either on the CD-ROM that came with your signal generator shipment or on the Keysight website.
If necessary, obtain service from Keysight Technologies. Refer to Contacting Keysight Technologies.
