  1. N1914A power meters with serial number prior to MY53040007 require Service Note N1914A-07 which fixes a power supply ground loop. The ground loop injects noise into the measurement circuits which can cause unstable measurements at low (-30 dBm) power levels.
  2. Requires firmware A2.09.01 or greater when using with N-series power sensors.

Connection Setups

Channel 2 setups apply only to signal generators with Option 002 which adds a second channel. Channel 2 tests/adjustments will be run after all Channel 1 tests/adjustments have been run.

Flexible power sensor channel assignment

This test/adjustment uses flexible power sensor channel assignment and will identify the channel that a power sensor is connected to using the ability of "smart" sensors such as the N848xA and U848xA series to report their full model and serial number.
