Internal Pulse Modulation Level Accuracy

M9484C with option PMR or PME

This test measures the relative amplitude of the RF Output when pulse modulated compared to the amplitude in CW mode.

The signal generator is first set to CW mode and its RF Output amplitude is measured on an oscilloscope to set the reference amplitude. The signal generator is then pulse modulated using its internal pulse generator and the oscilloscope measures the relative amplitude.
