Video Feedthrough

M9484C with option PMR or PME

This test measures the pulse video feedthrough voltage during RF pulse modulation. Video feedthrough is a measure of the DC and low-frequency components of the pulse envelope.

To measure video feedthrough, a pulse envelope is displayed on the oscilloscope. For frequencies below 800 MHz, the video feedthrough is calculated from (max voltage + min voltage)/2. For frequencies above 800 MHz, the pulse envelope is passed through a digital low-pass filter and the video feedthrough equals the peak-peak voltage of the resulting signal.
