N7830A Required Test Equipment

In all test equipment configurations, cables and adapters must be properly torqued. Exceeding recommended torque values can cause damage to a cable or adapter, and can cause inaccurate test results.

  1. The N5241A and N5241B network analyzers are not allowed as Vector Network Analyzer 2. The frequency range of these network analyzers is insufficient as ETE for the N8974A and N8975A NFAs.

  2. The 10 dB step attenuator should be a standalone step attenuator. It should not be joined to a 1 dB step attenuator.
