3.8 GHz Frequency Adjustment

The 3.8 GHz frequency adjustment is used to adjust the frequency accuracy of the network analyzer's 3.8 GHz permanent-magnet YIG oscillator (PMYO) on the A12 source assembly.

The procedures for this adjustment may be found in the PNA on-line help. To find the procedures, perform the following steps:

  1. On the PNA front panel, press the green Help button located in the Command block of keys. The on-line Help window is displayed.

  2. The Help window may not be expanded fully. If the Hide icon is located in the upper left -hand corner of the tool bar, the help window is already expanded. Proceed to step 3. If the Show icon is in the upper-left corner, click it to expand the window.

  3. From the left pane of the Help window, click the Index tab and search for 3.8 GHz adjustment under keywords.

  4. Double-click 3.8 GHz adjustment from the keyword menu to display the description and procedure.
