Receiver Calibration Adjustment

Be sure to enter calibration factors for the power sensors into the power meter before performing this adjustment.

The receiver calibration is used to adjust the network analyzer receivers for a flat response across its full frequency range.

The procedures for this adjustment may be found in the PNA on-line help. To find the procedures, perform the following steps:

  1. On the PNA front panel, press the green Help button located in the Command block of keys. The on-line Help window is displayed.

  2. The Help window may not be expanded fully. If the Hide icon is located in the upper left -hand corner of the tool bar, the help window is already expanded. Proceed to step 3. If the Show icon is in the upper-left corner, click it to expand the window.

  3. From the left pane of the Help window, click the Index tab and search for Receiver Calibration Adjustment under keywords.

  4. Double-click Receiver Calibration from the keyword menu to display the description and procedure.

This procedure may require up to 30 minutes on some PNA models. It will create new mxcal files on the PNA C: drive.
