The source calibration is performed to improve the flatness of the source output power across the full frequency range.
The procedures for this adjustment may be found in the PNA on-line help. To find the procedures, perform the following steps:
On the PNA front panel, press the green Help button located in the Command block of keys. The on-line Help window is displayed.
The Help window may not be expanded fully. If the Hide icon is located in the upper left -hand corner of the tool bar, the help window is already expanded. Proceed to step 3. If the Show icon is in the upper-left corner, click it to expand the window.
From the left pane of the Help window, click the Index tab and search for Source Calibration Adjustment under keywords.
Double-click Source Calibration from the keyword menu to display the description and procedure.
This procedure may require up to 30 minutes on some PNA models.
It is recommended to run the Power Level Accuracy (Source Power Accuracy) Performance Test after performing this adjustment.
