Residual Responses Utility

This utility applies to the following models:

Residual responses are spurious signals that appear with no signal applied, and are generally caused by poor shielding or cracked cables. The intent of this procedure is to verify that when a unit has been repaired, the instrument has been properly reassembled. A test failure may indicate that a cable was not properly torqued. The test results are saved in a text output file. See the troubleshooting link below for information on accessing the text output file.
