Wideband EVM Adjustment

This adjustment applies to the following models:

This adjustment calibrates the M9319A corax attenuator to achieve the best EVM performance.

This adjustment requires the 89600 VSA software to be installed and configured on the host computer with valid licenses. Refer to the next section for configuration instructions.

Configuring the 89600 VSA Software

Follow these steps to configure the 89600 VSA software on the host PC.

  1. Ensure the Keysight IO library is version 18.1 or greater.

  2. Launch the 89600 VSA software.

  3. Go to Utilities > Hardware > Configurations which will bring up the configuration wizard. Click on the plus symbol to add the N9040B UXA.

  4. In the next window, select the N9040B UXA and name the configuration as SA in step 3 in the lower-left corner of the window.

  5. Click OK.

  6. You should now see the new SA configuration in the wizard.

Vector Signal Analysis Application

89600 VSA with licenses:

  • 89601200C, basic vector signal analysis and hardware connectivity
  • 89601AYAC, digital demodulation analysis
  • 89601BHFC, OFDM modulation analysis

  • Note that the 89600 application must be installed on the same PC as TME. When ordering 89600 licenses, ensure they are for the 89600 installation on the test PC — not the N9040B UXA.
