IF Bandwidth Filter Switching Uncertainty Performance Test

(M9393A)

This test measures the amplitude error when switching between the 40 MHz IF Filter path and the 100/160 MHz IF Filter Path. The M9393A has two 40 MHz IF Filter paths: Standard and Alternate. The 40 MHz Alternate IF Path is only used below 3.6 GHz. The 40 MHZ IF path selection (Standard/Alternate) is managed by the M9393A software. This test is run at two frequencies. One test frequency will test the 40 MHz Standard IF Path, and the other frequency will measure the 40 MHz Alternate IF Path. If the M9393A has a Preamplifier option installed, the test will be repeated with the Preamplifier turned on.
