Glossary Item Box

Gets or sets a value indicating whether tracking compensates for the average subcarrier amplitude.

Syntax

Visual Basic (Declaration)
Public MustOverride Property IsTrackAmplitude As Boolean
C#
public abstract bool IsTrackAmplitude {get; set;}
C++/CLI
public:
abstract property bool IsTrackAmplitude {
   bool get();
   void set (    bool value);
}

Property Value

The default value is true.

Remarks

If true, the average amplitude of the subcarriers is tracked. This means that the average amplitude variation of the subcarriers is backed out of all subcarriers before they are used. If there is amplitude droop in the signal, this will cause the droop to be removed and ignored by the measurement. However, if there is no amplitude droop, this could make the measurement slightly less accurate because the tracking may try to compensate amplitude variation that is due to noise.

Requirements

Target Platforms: Windows 11 Professional or Enterprise; Windows 10 Professional, Enterprise, or Education (64-bit)
