IQ Offset (802.16 OFDMA)

IQ Offset (dB)(also called I/Q origin offset or carrier leakage) is the magnitude of the carrier feed through signal, as measured over the data and pilot subcarriers of the current measurement region. The IQ Offset value for the no carrier feed through leakage condition is zero or -infinity (db).

The IQ Offset magnitude is expressed in dB relative to the average transmitted power in the current measurement region. IQ Offset is affected by the number of bursts plus any boosting levels. Measurement results should only be compared between equivalent signal configurations.

OFDMA IQ Offset is similar to IQ Offset for Digital Demodulation. For more information about this parameter, see IQ Offset (Digital Demod).
