About Adjacent Channel Power

The Adjacent Channel Power measurement provides insight into impact of distortion as interference to adjacent transmission channels (either affecting regulatory compliance or throughput).

Adjacent Channel Power is part of PowerSuite (89601PSMC), which also includes Spectral Emissions Mask measurement capability. Adjacent Channel Power (ACP Adjacent Channel Power: The power from a modulated communications channel that leaks into an adjacent channel. This leakage is usually specified as a ratio to the power in the main channel, but is sometimes an absolute power.) is similar to the adjacent channel power measurement found in the Keysight X-Series Measurement Applications software.

Adjacent Channel Power provides a convenient mechanism to perform ACP measurements with support for both common specifications (e.g., 3GPP 5G NR) as well as customer-specific, or narrowly defined specifications.
