Histogram Range Limit (Advanced Radar)
Menu Path:
Histogram Range Limit determines how the displayed x-axis minimum and maximum range values are determined for each of the active Histogram trace results.
- Automatic (Default setting)
- Histogram x-axis minimum and maximum range values are automatically calculated to be the accumulated Trend and Histogram statistical data set mean value +/- (2 * standard deviation value).
-
The Example below illustrates Histogram Range Limit = Automatic x-axis scaling for Best-Fit FM Frequency Modulation INL (%) metric, with an accumulated Trend and Histogram statistical data set size of 5240 points. The number of point Outliers is reported as 2.691%, indicating there are 141 points within the accumulated Best-Fit FM INL (%) data set which fall outside the automatically calculated x-axis range, as determined from data set mean value +/- (2 * standard deviation value).
- Full
- Histogram x-axis minimum and maximum range values are automatically calculated to be the accumulated Trend and Histogram statistical data set minimum and maximum values. In this way the full accumulated data set will be reported within the Histogram trace results, with zero point Outliers.
-
The Example below illustrates Histogram Range Limit = Full x-axis scaling for Best-Fit FM INL (%) metric, with an accumulated Trend and Histogram statistical data set size of 5240 points. The number of point Outliers is reported as 0% indicating we have the full data set of 5240 points reported within the displayed Histogram trace results.
