Symbol Clock Adjustment (Channel Sounding)

Symbol Clock Adjustment specifies a correction to the input time data (Main Time) sample rate. Generally, you will use this parameter to adjust for minor differences between the transmitter's sample rate and the measurement hardware's sample rate. The corrected time data is shown in the Sounding Time trace.

Even a small symbol clock error (1-3 ppm) between transmit and receive can degrade the quality of the channel sounding results. To correct for any symbol clock error, enable averaging or increase the Number of Repeats until you get a stable reading of SymClockErr. Then set the Symbol Clock Adjustment parameter to the negative of the SymClockErr value.

Default: 0 PPM 1) Parts Per Million or 2) pulse position modulation
