Reset Equalizer (Custom IQ)

The VSA defines the Equalization Filter to have a unit impulse response when equalization is first turned on. If Run is selected, the VSA then reshapes the Equalization Filter after each subsequent measurement. Click the Reset Equalizer button at any time to reset the equalization filter to a unit impulse response. There are several conditions that automatically reset the Equalization Filter. This button is available only when the Equalization Enable check box is selected.

Large Convergence values may cause the adaptation algorithm to become unstable. If this happens, reduce the Convergence by clicking Reset Equalizer to reset the filter; then resume the measurement.
