If you are measuring for conformance, the zero crossing error should fall within the standard's specified zero crossing tolerance.
(Zero Crossing Error) is the calculated variation of the zero crossing of the measured signal, relative to the reference signal. TheZero crossing error is calculated as a percentage of the symbol time.
