Adaptive (Digital Demod)

Menu Path: MeasSetup > Digital Demod > Compensate tab

Set Adaptive to Run to have the VSA update the Equalization Filter with each measurement (default). Set Adaptive to Hold to stop updating the Equalization Filter.

This parameter is available only when the Equalization Filter check box is selected.

The VSA combines the previous measurement with the previous equalization filter coefficients to compute new filter coefficients. For the first measurement after the Equalization Filter is reset, the VSA defines the Equalization Filter to have a unit impulse response.
