FSK Error Spec (Digital Demod)

(Available only when the digital-demodulation format is FSK or CPM (FM))

When FSK Error Spec (FSK Frequency Shift Keying: A form of modulation using multiple carrier frequencies to carry the digital information. The most common is the two frequency FSK system using the two frequencies to carry the binary ones and zeros. Error Spectrum) is selected, the VSA displays the spectrum of FSK Error Time. In other words, the VSA derives the FSK Error Time trace and then windows and FFTs this trace to produce the FSK Error Spectrum trace.

By default, normalization is ON and the deviation units are displayed as a percentage. To see the actual frequency deviation in units of Hz, turn normalization OFF. For further details, see Normalize IQ Traces.
