OFDM RMS Meas Full-Band Spectrum (DOCSIS 4.0 Upstream)
The trace provides the Root Mean Square (RMS) average power vs. subcarrier with null subcarriers. The measured results are without equalization. The value of the Marker displayed in the upper right corner is average power of the selected subcarrier.
The maximum subcarrier range matches the signal span. The lower and upper boundary of subcarrier index depends on the span and the location of active DOCSIS 4.0 signal in the span.
This trace could be used for the “synchronized ACP” measurement defined in the DOCSIS ATP test specification. You can use band power marker to measure the power of synchronized subcarriers in that band. You can also use the “scale X and Y” to display the subcarriers at the edge and the null subcarriers in adjacent frequency range.
