Measurement Control Tab (DVB-S2/S2X)

The Measurement Control tab of the DVB-S2/S2X Demod Properties Dialog Box configures the DVB-S2/S2X measurement characteristics.

The measurement control settings are applied to either a single carrier or to all carriers, depending on the Component Carrier Selection. Use the Component Carrier drop-down or the Component Carrier Diagram at the top of the tab to switch between component carriers.

The Measurement Control tab configures these parameters:

Compensation

• Reference Bits Plane
• Frequency Estimation Mode
• Compensate Symbol Clock Error
• Compensate IQ Offset
• Compensate IQ Gain Imbalance
• Use Multi-carrier Filter

Display

• Show EVM in dB
• Points per Symbol

Equalization

• Equalization Mode
• Channel Estimation Source
• Normalized Channel Delay Spread
• EQ Tracking
• Tracking Convergence
