FM Phase Error Metrics

The Region Table, Cumulative Statistics Table, and Current Statistics Table allow you to display the following FM Frequency Modulation Phase Error metrics:

• Phase Error RMS (deg)
  • Phase Error RMS in degrees, reports the root-mean-square phase error difference between the Phase Meas Time trace and the Phase Ref Time trace, measured over each LFM region's user defined analysis time samples.
  • Default visibility: ON
• Phase Error Peak (deg)
  • Phase Error Peak in degrees, reports the absolute maximum phase error difference between the Phase Meas Time trace and the Phase Ref Time trace, measured over each LFM region's user defined analysis time samples.
  • Default visibility: ON
• Phase Error Peak Loc (sec)
  • Phase Error Peak Loc in seconds, reports the time location offset from the reported region analysis Time Start (sec) value of each LFM region, to the location of the Phase Error Peak (deg) occurrence.
  • Default visibility: OFF
