Right-clicking a numeric trace hotspot displays the Edit popup menu.

Copy puts the unscaled text on the clipboard. For example, if you copy a Center Frequency of 1 MHz Megahertz: A unit of frequency equal to one million hertz or cycles per second., the text "1000000 Hz" goes to the clipboard.

Paste puts the contents of the clipboard into a data entry text box for the parameter. This is a "smart" paste operation which tries the following steps in order:

1. Search the text on the clipboard for units that are sensible in the current context and use them and the associated value.
2. Search for a unitless number on the clipboard and use the first one found with the base units currently associated with the paste target.
3. Search for a number followed by any units and offer to use the number with the current base units associated with the paste target.

The paste operation always provides the chance to confirm before pasting.
