Markers Window

The 89600 VSA shows marker values in the Markers window. The following illustration shows some of the marker readouts available.

The label preceding the marker value indicates how the marker value was derived:

NAN (Not A Number) is displayed when the marker value is invalid (for example, if the marker value is the result of a math function that divides by zero).

INF (Infinity) is displayed when the marker value exceeds approximately 3.4E+38.

Polar Display Marker Readouts

The Polar Format box in the Position tab of the Markers dialog box determines the readout for a 2D (I/Q) trace format. The choices are between Mag & Phase or Real & Imag. The default is Mag & Phase.
