Correction (Trace Data)

Correction shows the corrections derived from the calibration data. The Correction trace is applied to the acquired data to compensate for phase and magnitude anomalies in the measurement hardware and software signal processing.

The number of points in the correction spectrum varies. The number is affected by the number of time record samples used in a measurement (and therefore by most of the settings on the ResBW dialog) and by the adaptive equalizer settings (when used). The minimum number of points in the Correction trace is 256 points.
