Inst Spectrum (Trace Data)
shows the instantaneous spectrum for the selected input channel. Instantaneous spectrum is computed before data is averaged, which shows spectrum data before the data is averaged with other spectrum data.

This measurement calculation is useful for these types of averaged measurements:
- rms
- rms exponential
- peak hold/continuous peak hold
When averaging is off, the spectrum and instantaneous spectrum display the same information.
