No Data (Trace Data)

The No Data trace data turns off trace computations, which results in a blank trace. Selecting No Data increases measurement speed by turning off post-processing calculations for the active trace.

When a trace window is closed by pressing the “X” button, the trace window is made invisible and the selected trace data is set to No Data.

Alternatively, the traces that are not needed can be removed.

The VSA always calculates all traces, even when the trace windows are not visible.
