Current Location Scroll Bar (Spectrogram)

The Current Location Scroll Bar is located on the left side of the spectrogram display. The Current Location Scroll Bar shows the current location and size of the viewable portion of the spectrogram and is a way to quickly change the location and/or height.

To change the spectrogram location:

• Single click in the scroll bar area but outside of the slider bar. If clicked above the slider bar, then the top-trace-time is moved to this location. If clicked below the slider bar, then the bottom-trace-time is moved to this location

• Click and drag the slider bar. This moves the viewable portion through the spectrogram without changing the maximum height.

• Double click within the scroll bar and enter a new top-trace-value in the Top Trace dialog box.

• Click to select the scroll bar and change the top-trace-time value by using the arrow keys or typing in a numeric value.

To change the spectrogram height:

• Hold down the Shift key and click within the scroll bar area. If clicked above the center of the slider bar, the top-trace-time moves to this location without changing the bottom-trace-time. Only the top-trace-time and height will change. If clicked below the center of the slider bar, the bottom-trace-time moves to this location without changing the top-trace-time.

• Hold down the Shift key and click and drag the scroll bar.
