Data Entry Popup Menu

Double-clicking a text entry box in a dialog or hotspot on a trace opens a Data Entry popup dialog. Copy and Paste operations behave slightly different than normal Windows Copy/Paste operations. When numerical values are copied, they are unscaled. For example, if "1 MHz Megahertz: A unit of frequency equal to one million hertz or cycles per second." is copied, the clipboard contents are "1000000 Hz" rather than "1 MHz."

Copy copies the text from the text entry box to the clipboard.

Paste deletes the text from the text entry box and replaces the text with the clipboard contents.

The dropdown box below the data entry text box lists available units. There may be other controls below the list of units (such as shown in the Range Data Entry dialog to the left).
