Y Format (Units Tab)

Y Format selects a Linear Mag, Log Mag (dB) or Real (I) format of the limit line points. These formats are common to the trace formats that are available for all traces. When a limit test is applied, the limit lines are converted from this format to the data trace format. When editing a limit line, Y Format helps determine the appropriate Y-axis units.

Linear Mag	Selects Linear Mag as the limit line Y format. This is a magnitude format, so negative limit lines are truncated to y=0.
Log Mag (dB)	Selects Log Mag (dB) as the limit line Y format. This is a magnitude format, so negative limit lines are truncated to y=0.
Real (I)	Selects Real (I) as the limit line Y format. Negative limit lines are supported by this format.
