PRACH allocations (LTE-Advanced)

To configure a PRACH Physical Random Access Channel channel, follow these steps:

  1. Select the PRACH tab (on the left)

    PRACH cannot be analyzed simultaneously with PUSCH Physical Uplink Shared Channel, PUCCH Physical Uplink Control Channel, and SRS Signaling Reference Signal.

  2. Set Channel Parameters
    1. Set NRAPRBoffset 
    2. Set Configuration Index
    3. Set Logical Root Seq Index
    4. Set Cyclic Shift Set
    5. Set NCS Configuration 
    6. Set Preamble Index
    7. Set Power (dB)
    8. Set Sync Resource (TDD Time Division Duplex: A duplexing technique dividing a radio channel in time to allow downlink operation during part of the frame period and uplink operation in the remainder of the frame period. only)
  3. Return to Uplink user allocations and configure another type of channel or signal.
